Karl Kadalipp — contact
Senior Full-Stack Java Software Engineer
Now at Nortal AS
Have something serious to build?
Registries, tax and metering platforms, credit decisions — systems that have to be correct and have to keep running long after launch. Email is the surest way to reach me; I read every message and reply to the ones that fit.

What I work on
4 kinds of workSenior full-stack engineering
Java and Spring Boot on the server, Angular or React in the browser — a feature owned from the schema to the screen rather than handed over halfway.
Backend & data-layer work
Spring Boot services, Hibernate/JPA mappings and the Oracle or PostgreSQL schemas beneath them, including the ones that are already in production.
Public-sector & enterprise integration
X-Road data exchange, SOAP and REST service contracts, OAuth 2.0 and Keycloak, and the security and audit requirements that tax, police and banking systems come with.
Long-lived systems
Registries, tax and metering platforms and a bank's credit decisions — systems judged on the decade after launch: maintenance, modernisation, rewrites and the releases in between.
